Rejuvenate Your Lymphatic Glands with an Exfoliating Brush

Did you know we have more lymphatic fluids in our body than blood?

Yup! And the Lymphatic system is extremely important in protecting our body from harmful elements in the environment.
The lymphatics don’t have a system that moves the fluid like the veins, the movement we get in the lymphatics system is moved by us. We have to walk, run, jump or otherwise actively stimulate our lymphatic system.

What is the Lymphatic System?

  • By definition – The lymphatic system is a network of tissues and organs that help rid the body of toxins, waste and other unwanted materials. The primary function of the lymphatic system is to transport lymph, a fluid containing infection-fighting white blood cells throughout the body. The vessels are connected to lymph nodes, where the lymph is filtered. The tonsils, adenoids, spleen and thymus are all part of the lymphatic system. (1)

Lumps and bumps in the lymphatics can be things that your body is protecting you from.
Lymphatic massage or even something as simple as dry body brushing or dry cellulite brushing is a great way to stimulate the lymph nodes and help them to function normally.
Here is a YouTube video about Dry Skin Body Brushing

that you may find helpful.

As with any form of detox you are doing with your body, it is very important to drink lots of clean water when you are moving lymphatic fluids. Drinking water is the best way to rid your body of the toxins as you move them, to avoid the possibility of illnesses that can be caused as you move toxins around.

Insulin Resistence

I found this video -vlog very interesting by Dr Eric Berg DC.

It sounds like many of us old and young have some level of insulin resistance going on. As we get older and if we have poor diet habits this can turn into some pretty serious stuff – like obesity, type II diabetes and even can contribute to heart disease…

A 1st step product you might consider is Time Challenger Diabetic Response

Changing our eating habits is a big must as well. Dr Eric Berg is a big proponent for fasting. I am not sure about that yet as many of us that would only be healthy if we were sure to eat every meal packed with lots of good nutrients. I feel pretty strongly that frequent small nutritious meals or 3 meals and some snacks like nuts, veges and fruits would still be a very healthy life style.

Silver Power

Colloidal silver is tiny particles of elemental silver that have been suspended in water.

Generally, the particles are so small, they cannot be detected by the human eye. Their minute size prevents them from settling and helps them to remain in a solution.

Colloidal silver is able to kill off harmful microorganisms without causing harm to beneficial organisms, like probiotic bacteria.

Silver has been used to prevent disease and the spread of harmful bacteria, viruses and fungi for hundreds of years.

Silver was used for food storage, flatware and other utensils because it helped prevent food spoilage and disease proliferation. In 1884, a German obstetrician used a silver solution to help prevent gonococcal opthalmia, a condition that causes blindness in newborn babies. Silver was widely used in hospitals to dress wounds and prevent infections, before the advent of antibiotics and synthetic drugs.

Fortunately, colloidal silver has begun to regain its popularity now that the age of antibiotics could reach its end.

Time Challenger Labs International, Inc., maker of Time Challenger Mitochondrial Nutrition systems was recently asked to relate actual instances of product success. This is important since Time Challenger is used by so many around the country and across the world.

Time Challenger was developed over 12 years ago. The base formula was created from information gathered over the Internet and in research journals. It was the first product in the United States to address the problem of depleted mitochondria in our cells, the material which extracts energy from the food we consume. It was noted a few years earlier that aging was in fact a mitochondrial “disease” as the death or mutations of this precious material lead to our eventual demise no matter what ordinary vitamins and herbs we were to consume. The scientific research pointed to special material that, if consumed in the exact ratios and at the proper times and in the correct amounts would restore mitochondrial functions.Read More…

The Barrel, The Ladder & The Wall

thebarrelBy: Jerry Petermann, 2016

Curious title? Yes, but illustrative for our discussion.

Often an analogy serves best to make a point. We will explore three.

The Barrel
In the world of pickles and whisky, a wooden barrel is the ideal storage vessel. Some people even advertise how their liquor or beer is aged in oak barrels. Laudable, as they even claim to make their barrels for that very purpose.

Now, in the construction of a well-made wooden barrel, the pieces known as staves, must be crafted with perfection to make a liquid tight construction. Even these “perfect” staves must be held in place by some external force; metal bands, to maintain integrity. Should some other external force be placed on the barrel, in most cases these bands will resist catastrophic failure. However, should an external force be applied to a single stave, the entire barrel might collapse, as together all are strong but individually, they are not.

The human body’s complex systems are rather like a barrel of wooden staves held together with “bands” of proper diet, exercise, mental well-being, hydration, supplementation and rest.Read More…

Live Life With PURPOSE

live life with purposeBy Jerry Petermann, 2016

It happened again! Once more I sat quietly listening to a friend go on and on about a trip to “The Doctor”.

Well, this dear friend was most certainly not referring to my virtual superhero, “The Doctor” on the British TV series Dr. Who. At least that fellow, if asked his name, can truthfully say, “I’m The Doctor”. Of course, all us fans know him to be a time-traveler of the entire universe and the very last of The Time Lords. But, that aside, he deserves the title; The Doctor.

I have a hard time with our virtual, God-like adoration of medical professionals in the USA; especially since recent statistics were made public on the ABC Evening News They stated that between 200,000 and 400,000 people die each year from medical mistakes in America. Let’s put that in prospective: at the 400,000 number it would be like hearing the news that 3 airliners with over 330 people on board each craft crashed every day for a whole year. Now, do you think that industry would even survive 1 month?

To YOUR Health ROMEO

coffeeBy Jerry Petermann

The other day a friend mentioned during morning coffee that a local man’s daughter who had become a successful doctor in San Antonio, TX had suffered a major heart attack. I winced. This was a girl who had been in high school with my own daughter. It only seemed to have been just a few years ago…

I have coffee two or three days a week at a local café at 4:30 A.M. with my friends of the R.O.M.E.O. Club…that’s Retired Old Men Eating Out. We, as every other morning coffee group of retired people across the
country, solve the problems of the community, the nation and the world. It’s press coverage we lack to get these solutions implemented…no matter.
The heart attack of this young woman again struck home, too close to home. Last week, we buried our founding member’s son-in-law (same age as the doctor) who had passed from advanced cancer (took him in 10 months). Yet, each of us are fairly healthy. We all garden and take life a little less serious – less stressful, most of the time.Read More…
